Swimming against the norm

In today’s society most of the fashion world’s footwear production is now shipped to eastern
countries for mass production and has created a throw away culture within the consumer.

Even though the country such as Norway thrives with its resources of oil it has failed to take care
of its traditional handcraft and natural resources. This is something we also see in England with
traditional footwear companies having to close down. Working together with the country’s only
standing footwear factory in Dale I hope to keep spreading the awareness of preserving traditional
handcrafted skills in Norway and England.

By producing and sourcing all products and materials locally, it will help in boost local economies and
help communicate the importance of traditional footwear making.

Traditionally made-globally inspiring.

These products are aimed at women that are looking for a fashionable, yet functional high quality
product.

When starting the project I realised I would need to work with something I was truely passionate about! And I found my passion.Even though its been hard the company focuses on luxury pieces in a modern society where fast eastern goods are at an all time high.
